FS 225 Ex nA non- sparking motor with inverter

Our R&D team is currently testing Ex nA, frame size 225  cast iron motor with inverter. Ex nA motors of zone 2, group II (3G) are designed for potentially hazardous areas where above-standard concentrations of gas and vapor occur . The non-sparking motors are designed to prevent sparks from appearing as well as to prevent the machine surface from exceeding the permissible temperature during its operation. An innovation in the currently tested Ex nA  prototype lies in the use of an inverter through which it will be possible to operate the motor and control its speed. ATB Tamel’s prototype is being tested as part of the order for the cooling and heating system fan.
