FUMEX smoke extraction duty motors have been designed to work under normal conditions on continuous duty, powering the fan used for ventilation of exhaust gas as well as during the fire, enabling the room ventilation from smoke and carbon dioxide, giving the possibility of evacuation from the fire area. Depending on the type, they work continuously up to 3 hours in 400 degrees Celcius temperature. Fumex motors are used in underground garages, tunnels and subway. ATB Tamel offers FUMEX motors in 80-355 mechanical size, in temperature classes F200, F250, F300 and F400. FUMEX motors are available in 2 to 8 pole versions, in the power range of 0,18 – 400kW. Possible mounting options are B3, B5, B14, B30 and other. Degrees of protection are IP55, IP56, IP65, IP66. Certified according to EN 12101-3:2002.
