Wolong Holding Group, a company which at the end of 2011 took over the ATB Group together with Tamel factory, has been in industry for 34 years. Mergers and acquisitions have been one of main elements in Chinese holding’s long-term strategy. Since the acquisition of the ATB Group Wolong has been buying companies both in China and other countries. Currently, the group owns nearly 60 subsidiaries around the world.
The latest project of the Chinese holding is an acquisition of companies belonging to the Power Conversion Division of General Electric. Entities operate in business of small industrial motors in American, Mexican and Indian market. One of them includes the first electric motor designed by Thomas Edison.
